PITTSFIELD — 2nd Street will host a free financial wellness seminar called CreditAbility on March 20 from 1-2 pm. Greylock Federal Credit Union will facilitate the seminar, which is open to 2nd Street clients and the general public. 2nd Street is located at 264 Second St.
Participants in the seminar will learn who needs to build good credit and why; the significance of a credit score; how to establish and/or repair credit; tips on how to use credit wisely; costly pitfalls and urban legends; and consumer rights and responsibilities.
Second Street Second Chances, Inc., better known as 2nd Street, supports formerly incarcerated persons in Berkshire County and connects them with the tools, programs and support they need to successfully reenter their community.
