Alex Dougherty
Alexander L. Dougherty is currently a Senior Probation Officer at the Northern Berkshire District Court. He formerly worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer at Berkshire Juvenile Court in Pittsfield and has 27 years of service with the Massachusetts Trial Court. Alex’s work in the Criminal Justice field has led to positions of Adjunct Professor at MCLA and Campus Safety Officer at Williams College.
Alex has served on several non profit boards, including the Northern Berkshire United Way and the Haiti Plunge Inc.
Alex holds a BA in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a Juris Doctorate from Western New England College. He is a LSW in Massachusetts.
