Pittsfield, MA — A group of local organizations that deal with youth issues will discuss the increasing rates of youth mental illness from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Barrington Stage, 30 Union St. 

Called the Berkshire County Youth Mental Health Panel, the event will feature 18 Degrees, Austen Riggs Center, Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention, Brien Center, the District Attorney’s Office, Berkshire County Kids’ Place, Love of T Foundation, National Alliance on Mental Illness Berkshire County, and the Pittsfield Public Schools.

Jason Cuyler, executive director of 2nd Street Second Chances, will introduce the panel discussion.

The event is free and open to the public.
